![]() Once the roof is torn off, the deck is checked for dry-rot wood which is replaced. Any loose decking is secured and the process of rolling out the base sheet is started. The rolls of modified are torched to the base sheet. |
![]() At the edge of the roof, once the base sheet is laid, a strip of smooth modified is laid to go under the edge metal. This is to create a sandwich of the edge metal providing a double seal at the perimeter. The metal is primed prior to the installation of the of the modified bitumen double sealing the metal. |
